| | Research Interests |
| | | | My interests lie in natural history and this has coloured my research interests over the last 25 years. Although my PhD research on Dunlin was completed many moons ago I still maintain a research interest in wading birds. I have also done a little work on breeding tits - this work came to an unexpected halt a few years ago when I fell from a tree and broke my shoulder (ouch!). My main research is on seabirds - particularly on the Black Guillemot - that study began in 1985. I have an interest also in human laterality as well as science and technology in the primary school classroom. |
