This would be suitable for teachers who feel they would like to develop basic skills in this area. It may also be relevant to teachers who have qualified outside Northern Ireland and others whose previous professional opportunities have not included consideration of, or experience in, these areas of practice.
Upon full attendance and completion of a presentation task requiring students to reflect on the course and prepare a proposal for a future programme for their school, participants will receive a CREDIT Certificate.
This is a more in-depth course equipping participants to embed good practice in this area into their own settings. Applicants for this course would need to show an existing awareness of community engagement issues whether through successful completion of the introductory course or by other suitable evidence.
Upon full attendance and completion of a written assessment, participants will receive a CREDIT Certificate. Those attending the full course ‘Extending Skills in CREDIT’ can elect to receive M-Level credit at a greatly reduced price upon completion of addition assessment.
