The Library is committed to continually improving services in both its physical and virtual environments. As part of this process, we are developing a collection of E-Books which can be accessed any time, any place, anywhere i.e. both on and off-campus. This makes library resources easier to use and provides 24/7 access which facilitates the way each individual studies. Titles have been purchased to support your studies and include topics such as;

  • Becoming a teacher
  • Language and literatureBook and Mouse image
  • Parental involvement in education
  • Managing pupil behaviour
  • Research and study skills
  • Teaching Maths, Literacy, etc.
  • Teaching Practice

How to find E-Books

From StranCat, enter ‘ebook’ in the keyword search field. This will give you a list of all E-Books currently available. Click on the ‘connect’ button and you will be taken directly to the resource. For off-campus access, conduct your search in the usual way within StranCat; when you click on the ‘connect’ button, you will be prompted to enter your Stranmillis username and password.

We welcome your comments and suggestions for additions to stock.
