Extended opening Tuesdays until 8pm 

The Student Support Centre is a dedicated building on the College campus which combines all aspects of student support including  Counselling, Disability, Student Health and Widening Participation. The Careers Service is now in Central Building. 

The Student Support Centre provides a welcoming environment where you may drop in or make an appointment.

We are open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (Friday 4.25pm).  The Centre is closed for lunch from 1.00pm to 2.00pm. Extended opening Tuesdays until 8pm

Careers Service

Helping you plan your route from study to employment, we offer personal advice and guidance, information on graduate vacancies, postgraduate study and programmes of career related events. The Careers Service is now located in Central Building.
Counselling Service A confidential service for any student who is in difficulty or who has concerns that they need to discuss. 
Disability Service Offers support to students with a wide range of disabilities to ensure that they have access to appropriate services and support to successfully complete their studies.
Occupational Health Designed to assist with your health needs throughout your student career.
Widening Participation Works to encourage students from under-represented groups to enter higher education and supports students on campus who come from such groups.

The Student Support Centre endeavours to provide support for students with disabilities, meeting your individual needs to help you reach your goals. If you have a particular need:

  • Difficulty accessing the building, please contact the Student Support Centre to make alternative arrangements
  • Help accessing the materials, please ask at reception
  • You are unable to come to the Student Support Centre and would like an appointment, this can be arranged in an alternative venue e.g. Main Building
  • Require information in a different format please contact us.
