Background & Qualifications

       Recently appointed to this post for 3 years, I have been a teaching SENCo working with pupils with a wide range of SEN for 11 years. I have developed a range of support programmes, with an emphasis on enhancing teacher and classroom assistant skills and knowledge within schools in order to promote Inclusive Practice.
       As a result of this I have also become involved in the promotion of Gifted and Talented provision and establishing cross-sector links.
       Another role is in CPD and facilitation of Outstanding and Developing Teaching Programmes(OLEVI), NICIE workshops and as part of the Capacity Building Programme for the DENI/ETI.


BEd Courses / M-Level Courses / Other Teaching :
             As a result of initiatives I have set in place, I have been a guest speaker on M.Ed modules and have lectured on the B.Ed programmes on ASD and Sensory Processing difficulties since 2007.
