Who is the course for?
Working in close partnership with community-based organisations, Maths Made Simple is an engaging and informative parental engage programme for parents and carers of primary school age children.
What is the aim of the course?
The focus of the Maths Made Simple course will be on the numeracy skills you child will learn at Key Stages 1 and 2 in primary school. Delivered by qualified teachers, the course ais designed to help parents and carers acquire a greater understanding of current numeracy concepts in primary school maths to help them more confidently support their child’s learning.
Why should I get involved?
Maths is an essential part of the school curriculum at every stage of your child’s school journey. The course will :
- Understand how maths is being taught in school today.
- Learn basic concepts and knowledge to ensure you can help your child with maths homework.
- Help your child feel more confident and relaxed.
- Provide you with a free resource pack so you can continue to develop numeracy skills at home with your child
