This course is designed to provide students with the foundational skills necessary for academic success in reading, writing, and research. It will focus on developing critical reading strategies, effective writing practices, and research methodologies. Throughout the course, students will engage in activities that enhance their ability to analyze texts, develop well-supported arguments, and conduct scholarly research. Course Objectives:

  • Develop critical reading skills for understanding and analyzing academic texts;
  • Learn strategies for academic writing, including argument development, structure, and clarity;
  • Master the research process, from formulating a research question to evaluating sources and organizing research;
  • Become familiar with academic citation styles and the ethics of research.;
  • Improve the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively in both written and oral formats;
