Sharing Fond Memories

Eleanor Anderson (nee Sproule) was a dedicated student who graduated from Stranmillis in 1961. Demonstrating her academic prowess early on, she skipped a year in primary school, beginning her studies at Stranmillis at the young age of 17. Eleanor’s determination and hard work paid off when she graduated at 21, marking a significant milestone in her educational journey.

In the same year of her graduation, Eleanor married, an event captured in a photo from her graduation ceremony at Queens. Eleanor’s story continues to be a source of pride and fond memories for the Anderson family, especially as she played a pivotal role in encouraging and supporting the academic endeavors of her grand-daughter, Aoife Anderson, BA ECS, PGCE Early Years, who graduated Monday 1st July 2024.
