Study

We are continually investing in modern teaching and learning spaces. Whether it’s for formal teaching, personal study or use in off-campus settings, our teaching, IT and communication resources utilise the latest technologies. Interactive teaching technologies and a new virtual learning environment; new timetabling and placement software; superb library facilities and resources, IT suites and research resources for individual and group study, together with high quality student intranet and communication technologies, have been designed to enhance your teaching and learning experience  and ensure that you are equipped to succeed at college.

Express

If you have a passion for art, design, music or drama, the College is able to offer  specialist resources, facilities and opportunities for you to express yourself and develop your talents and skills. Facilities include a 260-seat Drama Theatre, a large music suite with recital rooms, studios and individual practice rooms and bespoke studio spaces for ceramics, textiles, art and design.

Play

For those wanting to burn off some energy and calories, the College offers a range of sports facilities including a gym (membership is only £20 per year), two indoor sports halls (a 604 sqm Sports Hall and a 386 sqm Dance Hall) , a large all-weather training area and other open green spaces. There is also a 5k parkrun course around the campus.

Learn

If you are always on the look out to learn something new, you don’t need to go off-campus to find something to peak your interest. Ballroom dancing, woodcarving, basketmaking, painting, languages, pilates, yoga, photography, gardening ….. Stranmillis Lifelong Learning offers a hugely varied programme of short courses where you can learn, or enhance, a new skill or hobby or enrol on health, fitness or wellbeing activities.
