We shall be reading the Cambridge Latin Course Book IV: ‘Rome at last! Here, we discover the

hustle and bustle of the largest city in antiquity. We also meet a host of new characters: an

ambitious building-contractor, an elegant, philosophical Greek lady, a love-struck pantomime

actor and the Emperor himself, Domitian.’ We also continue with ‘Latin to GCSE, Part II’

(chapter 9) and we shall read ‘Hannibal crosses the Alps’. Newcomers are most welcome to join

the class, but you will need an intermediate level of Latin to follow the course comfortably.
