Report on Home-Schooling during the COVID-19 Crisis
Our Centre for Research in Educational Underachievement recently conducted a survey on parents/carers’ experiences of home-schooling in Northern Ireland during the COVID 19 lockdown. The survey received a huge response with over 2000 responses recieved from parents and cares across Northern Ireland. Click here to see the report.
Remote Teaching and Learning
With all face to face teaching in schools suspended, the need for the highest quality, best-practice led remote teaching has never been more important. As part of the College’s social responsibility activities, the College design and is delivering 12 4-week Remote Teaching and Learning courses to almost 400 local teachers. Read More.
Playful Ideas for Active Minds
To support parents of younger children during the current school closure, our PGCE Early Years students have pulled together almost 50 playful ideas and activities that parents can do with their children at home to support their development at this vital time in their education.
