SLEEP

Stran Halls has 378 modern, fully furnished, single occupancy study bedrooms with a choice of shared or ensuite bathroom facilities. All rooms have access to communal kitchen facilities, equipped with fridge, mini-oven and hob, microwave, toaster and individual storage units.

EAT

Stran Halls is catered, taking the hassle out of cooking, leaving you more time for socialising and exploring what Belfast and Northern Ireland have to offer. Our catered package 5 days a week (term-time) – includes a cooked breakfast and 3 course evening meal (Monday-Thursday) and cooked breakfast and lunch (Friday) in ‘Chatz’ restaurant; saving you trips to the supermarket and time spent cooking and washing up.

RELAX

As well as not having to cook and wash dishes, we also take care of the cleaning of communal areas; bed linen is washed and laundered weekly; and utilities, including heating, electricity, utilities and high speed WiFi, are included – giving you more time for what you want to do. And for something different, you have access to a range of short courses on campus where you can learn a new language, skill or hobby.

UNWIND

When it’s time for a bit of downtime, there are plenty of shared social spaces on campus. Betty’s coffee shop, Scholars Bar, Cyber-Tub, Chatz and the Students’ Union are lively hubs where you can meet, eat and spend time with friends. For something more active, you can hit the gym, sports hall, dance studio or games rooms.
