Supporting Local Charities

We as the Students' Union believe that it is vitally important to support charities both locally and internationally. Each year we hold different charity events, including our Charity Week to raise as much money as we can for our charities; chosen by our students. Not only does this hugely impact the daily running of our charities but it allows us to build a community of students who recognise the impact they can have on the world around them.

This year we are delighted to be supporting three local charities who we feel are very relevant to the students of Stranmillis University College. Our three charities are Children in Crossfire, Made for More and Simon Community who all impact the education, health and wellbeing of children and young people across Northern Ireland and further afield.

Charity Week

Held in early November, Charity Week is one of our best weeks on campus where both students and staff come together to raise tremendous amounts of money for our charities. This year we will have a range of both golden oldies, including Stran does Strcitly and also new and improved events which will be loved by you all.

If you have any other charitiy ideas that you would love to see being implemented do not hesitate to contact our Charity and Welfare Officer, Cameron.
