Student Voice Committee

The Student Voice Committee (SVC) is a forum for academic concerns where reps from each year will meet with academic staff and bring forward feedback and concerns.

What does the SVC do?

The SVC is solely for academic matters and there is a separate SVC for each degree programme (one for primary, post-primary, ECS, PE&S, PGCE and M Level). As an SVC rep you will give feedback from your year group on different academic areas (classes, timetabling, exams, assignments etc.) and then present this to the SVC for discussion.

SVCs usually take place about 4 times a year and with mix of students (SVC reps) and academic staff in attendance.

At the beginning of the academic year students will receive an email from their head of programme with more information about nominations and their year rep.

Any questions contact your Academic Officer Amy Jones (ALJ01@stran.ac.uk).
