The BEd Post-primary programme at Stranmillis is a highly flexible and exciting programme that allows you to choose and study a main subject plus a subsidiary subject, allows you to chose from over 20 combinations of main and subsidiary subjects to suit your individual subject strengths and interest.

Main and Subsidiary Subjects
You have a choice of four Main Subject pathways on the BEd Post-primary programme:

| Religious Studies | Technology and Design |
Whichever main pathway you choose, you will also choose a subsidiary subject to study alongside your main subject.
| Computer Studies | English | Mathematics |
| Physical Education | Religious Studies | Science |
Generally, you will be able to teach your subsidiary subject to at least GCSE level. The ability to teach a second subject greatly enhances your opportunities and employability.
