Lesson 3
Don't Bottle Up

Don't Bottle Up

Communication is very important, especially when we are facing a difficult situation. The 'Don't Bottle Up' lesson pack contains a lesson plan, audio story-lines and a science experiment to aid class discussion about the importance of not bottling up our emotions...so that we don't explode!

Lesson Plan

Don’t Bottle Up is a lesson designed to encourage pupils to talk about their feelings with people they trust, as opposed to ‘bottling up’ their emotions inside.

Children will:

  • Understand how emotional outbursts may impact the individual and others.
  • Understand the importance of sharing our emotions with others.
